In November 2016, DFS expanded its capabilities by opening a state-of-the-art maintenance facility in Bordeaux-Mérignac, capable of accommodating up to six Falcon 6X, 7X, and 8X aircraft. This expansion increased the number of dedicated experts at DFS to over 550, prompting the organization to reassess its operational processes and embark on a digital transformation journey. One key area identified for digital transformation was the use of paper logbooks in the flight operations and maintenance departments. Eliminating paper logs would enable DFS to uphold its commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Opportunity to Transform
Before implementing the TrustFlight Tech Log, DFS relied on paper-based processes to manage their pilot logs. Each flight required pilots to complete a cumbersome series of paper forms before and after flights.
