From the Cutty Sark to Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, Steven will be running one of the world&#8217;s most iconic races for a cause that is deeply personal to him.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Steven Is Running<\/h2>\n<p>For Steven, this is about more than a marathon. His daughter is currently waiting for an autism assessment, facing a minimum wait of 22 months. During that time, Steven has tried to research and better understand autism, but found it difficult to access the information and support his family needs.<\/p>\n<p>By raising money for the National Autistic Society, the UK&#8217;s largest autism charity, Steven hopes to help the organisation reach more families in the same position and improve access to vital resources for the 700,000 autistic people across the country.<\/p>\n<p>In his own words:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;My daughter should not have to change the way she sees the world, the world should change how it sees her.
